Assistant Manager – Retail Operations

About the role

The Assistant Manager will support the Store General Manager in delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence across the Toronto location. This full‑time role blends leadership, sales performance, and inventory oversight within a fast‑paced, hybrid retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead customer service on the sales floor, acting as Manager on Duty when required.
• Support accurate reporting, sales and profit achievement, and P&L management.
• Oversee inventory management, product restocking, markdowns and audit compliance.
• Coach and provide real‑time feedback to associates, ensuring high performance.
• Resolve customer complaints and make final decisions to guarantee satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager on store maintenance, opening/closing procedures, and asset control.
• Assist with staff recruitment, selection and performance management.
• Report workplace safety incidents and ensure compliance with occupational health regulations.
