Assistant Manager – Retail (Bramalea City Centre)

About the role

As an Assistant Manager at Old Navy you will help shape the store environment and lead a team to deliver a best‑in‑class shopping experience. You will work closely with the General Manager to execute store strategy, drive sales, and ensure operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategies and processes that drive store sales and deliver results with a customer‑centric mindset.
• Recruit, hire, and develop Brand Associate and Expert teams.
• Own an assigned area of responsibility and implement action plans to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Perform Service Leader duties and ensure consistent execution of standard operating procedures.
• Represent the brand, understand the competition, and promote community involvement.
• Leverage omni‑channel tools to deliver a frictionless customer experience.
• Ensure all compliance standards are met.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of retail management experience (current or former retail employee).
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong communicator able to interact with customers and team members.
• Passionate about retail, metrics‑driven, and able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically able to lift up to 30 lb and move around the sales floor, stockroom, and office.
• Willingness to travel as required.
