About the role
The Assistant Manager will support daily restaurant operations at Tim Hortons in Oxford, ensuring smooth service and efficient staff management. This position combines operational oversight with direct customer interaction in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate daily operations and monitor revenue to control labour costs.
- Plan, organize, and schedule staff work shifts for a team of over 20 employees.
- Supervise, train, and assess staff performance.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Enforce health, safety, and food‑handling regulations.
- Address customer complaints and provide high‑quality service.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation (high school) certificate.
- 2–3 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- First Aid and Safe Food Handling certifications.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
