Assistant Manager, Food & Beverage Operations

About the role

Westerner Park is looking for an Assistant Manager to support the Food & Beverage Operations for a one‑year fixed‑term. The role will help oversee concessions, bars, catering and suite services, ensuring compliance with health, safety and regulatory standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Food & Beverage Services Manager in daily operational oversight of concessions, bars, catering and suite areas.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and regulatory requirements.
• Support planning and execution of special events, coordinating with clients and internal teams.
• Manage the POS system, verify pricing and menu accuracy, and maintain proper authorisations.
• Lead, supervise and develop food service staff through training, coaching and performance management.
• Handle staff scheduling, attendance, disciplinary actions and payroll reconciliation.
• Address customer complaints, gather feedback and drive service improvements.
• Conduct regular quality and hygiene inspections of food and beverage service.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food and beverage operations or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, clients and internal teams.
