About the role
GD Goenka High School is seeking an Assistant Librarian to support its library services within a CBSE‑aligned learning environment. The role involves ensuring smooth operation of library resources and assisting students and staff in accessing information. The candidate will work collaboratively with teachers and administrators to promote a culture of inquiry and lifelong learning, contributing to a vibrant educational community that values curiosity and intellectual independence.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and organize library records efficiently.
- Utilize library management systems for cataloguing and circulation.
- Provide basic computer‑related support for library activities.
- Assist users in locating and retrieving library materials.
Required profile
- Graduate with a degree or diploma in Library Science (preferred).
- 4–5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage records accurately.
Required skills
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Familiarity with library systems.
