Assistant General Manager – Restaurant

About the role

The Assistant General Manager will support the restaurant’s overall operations, ensuring that resources, staff and policies are aligned to deliver excellent service. This role reports to senior leadership and helps drive performance across all functional areas.

Key responsibilities

• Allocate material, human and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs.
• Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and senior staff positions.
• Coordinate the work of regions, divisions or departments.
• Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs.
• Represent the organization in negotiations or official functions.
• Select middle managers, directors or other executive staff, delegate authority and create optimal working conditions.
• Supervise a team of 5‑10 employees.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
• Budgetary responsibility of $100,001 – $500,000.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and capacity to handle a large workload.
• Excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organization and teamwork.
• Valid driver’s licence and clean criminal record check.
