Assembler – Manufacturing (Edmonton)

About the role

Durabuilt Windows & Doors is seeking a hands‑on Assembler to join its Edmonton plant. You will work on a dedicated production line to build high‑quality windows and doors, ensuring each product meets strict quality, efficiency, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Use saws, cutting tools, impact drills, rivet guns and other hand tools to assemble window and door components in the sequence specified by the Line Lead.
• Measure and verify parts using both metric (mm) and imperial (inches) units.
• Identify and report any material or weld defects to the Line Lead.
• Complete production documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, clutter‑free work area and handle waste removal daily.
• Load, unload, and move materials manually or with basic handling equipment.
• Track inventory levels and alert supervisors when supplies run low.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in the windows or doors industry is an asset.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to pass a clear criminal background check.
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lb, stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with saws, cutting tools, impact drills, rivet guns and other hand tools.
• Skilled in measurement and verification methods using both metric and imperial units.
• Basic computer application use for manufacturing processes.
• Experience with basic material handling equipment.
