About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Artisan to join our new ice‑cream shop, Scooped by Demetres, in Mississauga. This part‑time position involves greeting guests, explaining our handcrafted flavours and scooping delicious ice‑cream in a bright, welcoming environment. Shifts are scheduled during afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Key responsibilities
- Provide warm and personable service to every guest.
- Articulate the craft behind our ice‑cream flavours.
- Guide guests toward their favourite flavours.
- Scoop and serve a high volume of ice‑cream, with some food preparation in the kitchen.
- Maintain a clean and organized service station.
Required profile
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently while multitasking.
- Quick learner who follows directions, keeps a clean station and stays organized.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
- Clear and kind communication with guests and colleagues.
