About the role

Join CGI Montréal as an Integration Architect and lead the design and implementation of scalable, high‑performance integration solutions across enterprise systems. You will work in a dynamic Agile environment, combining architectural leadership with hands‑on development, primarily on the Google Cloud Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and develop integration solutions that meet enterprise‑wide needs.
• Collaborate with solution architects, functional analysts, and business users to define and optimise integration flows.
• Document integration designs using BizzDesign and ArchiMate models.
• Design micro‑service‑based integration architectures on GCP, ensuring scalability, security and performance.
• Expose APIs through Apigee X with proper governance and security policies.
• Utilise GCP Pub/Sub for event‑driven and asynchronous processing.
• Support developers during implementation and enforce best practices.
• Test and validate integrations with Postman to ensure reliability and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in development and/or integration architecture.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English.
• Proven ability to recommend architectural and integration best practices.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – especially Pub/Sub.
• Java with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• API management with Apigee X.
• Architecture modelling tools: BizzDesign, ArchiMate.
• Integration testing with Postman.
