Android (Kotlin) Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android developer to help modernize and expand our mobile platform. The role will focus on translating functionality from an existing iOS app into a high‑quality Android application while maintaining feature parity and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Port functionality from the iOS application into a modern Android codebase.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android features using Kotlin and current Android frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, product stakeholders, and distributed team members.
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Implement offline‑first capabilities, local data persistence, and synchronization strategies.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and best practices for Android development.
• Participate in code reviews and agile development processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin, including Coroutines and Flow.
• Experience building Android UI with Views and Jetpack Compose.
• Solid understanding of MVVM architecture, ViewModels, Lifecycle components, and reactive state management.
• Experience with Room, local persistence, data migrations, and offline synchronization.
• Strong grasp of mobile application architecture and software development best practices.
