Android Developer – 3‑month contract

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team for a 3‑month fixed‑term contract, with the possibility of extension. You will work on high‑traffic customer‑facing and colleague‑facing mobile applications, collaborating closely with UX designers and backend engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native Android apps using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement and evolve architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVI.
• Write testable code following a Test‑Driven Development approach.
• Integrate apps with RESTful Java‑based APIs.
• Optimize performance, manage offline storage, and handle threading concerns.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure high‑quality releases.

Required profile

• Proven ability to write readable, idiomatic Kotlin/Java code.
• Hands‑on experience with Android frameworks and object‑oriented design patterns.
• Experience releasing at least one production app, including architecture design, code review, and testing.
• Strong focus on code quality and continuous delivery.
