About the role

Join GAL AeroStaff Ltd as an Aircraft Mechanic in Mount Hope, ON, where you will maintain and repair a variety of aircraft systems to meet Transport Canada and company safety standards. This full‑time, term or contract position offers hands‑on work in a dynamic aviation environment.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust, repair, and overhaul aircraft hydraulic, mechanical, and structural systems according to technical drawings and manuals.
• Inspect maintenance work performed by other mechanics and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and structural issues on aircraft.
• Install, modify, and test engines, flight‑control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
• Dismantle and reassemble airframes, engines, and related components for repair or cleaning.
• Maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical instructions.
• Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies.

Required profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in aeronautics, aviation, aerospace science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working in noisy, high‑altitude, confined‑space environments.
• Willingness to relocate (relocation costs covered by employer).
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.
