Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (non‑avionics)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to join our Gatineau team, focusing on mechanical and hydraulic systems (excluding avionics). The role ensures aircraft safety and regulatory compliance through thorough inspection, repair, and documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Adjust, repair, and overhaul aircraft mechanical, hydraulic, flight‑control, fuel and pneumatic systems according to specifications, technical drawings and manuals.
• Inspect maintenance work performed by aircraft mechanics and verify compliance with Transport Canada and company standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in aircraft hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble airframes, engines and related components.
• Maintain detailed repair, inspection and certification records.
• Interpret blueprints, specifications and written technical instructions.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education in aviation maintenance.
• 2–3 years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer.
• Valid AME “M” licence (Aircraft).
• Ability to work shifts as required.
