AI Augmented Developer (RAD) - C# .NET

About the role

LGI Healthcare Solutions, which has developed healthcare software for over 40 years, is hiring an AI Augmented Developer (RAD) in Montreal. The role sits in a C#.NET, Windows Forms and Oracle ecosystem and uses AI coding assistants daily to build, modernize and scale healthcare applications used by medical school staff, faculty and students.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain application modules with AI and coding-assistance tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.) in a C#.NET, Windows Forms, application services and Oracle (PL/SQL) ecosystem.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in a multi-technology environment with many system integrations.
• Modernize and scale the platform: evolve legacy components, optimize Oracle queries and data models, and refactor performance bottlenecks.
• Build and extend CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing and deployments.
• Take part in code reviews, paying close attention to AI-generated code.
• Own deliverables from requirement through production, including testing and documentation.
• Work within Canadian privacy standards for student records (PIPEDA and provincial legislation).

Required profile

• At least 8 years of development experience with C#.NET, Windows Forms, application services and Oracle (PL/SQL).
• Fast, self-directed learner who adapts quickly to changing technologies and ecosystems.
• Regular user of AI-powered development tools, able to critically assess and validate AI-generated outputs.
• Strong foundations in object-oriented programming and algorithmic thinking.
• Good communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a customer-focused, solution-oriented mindset.
• Interest in growing within a regulated digital health environment.

Required skills

• Delphi programming language experience (asset)
• Build and deployment pipelines, and enterprise-grade B2B solution development (assets)
• Solution architecture and modeling experience (asset)
• Knowledge of data integration and messaging standards such as HL7 v2 (asset)
• Personal projects or open-source contributions involving AI are highly valued
