About the role
The BGC St. Alban's Club is seeking an enthusiastic mentor to lead its STARS After‑School program at Rawlinson Community School. You will provide a safe, supportive environment for children aged 4‑12, delivering a mix of education, recreation, sports, health, nutrition and arts activities.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, organize and lead groups of children aged 4‑12 in a safe, inclusive setting.
- Facilitate educational, recreational, sports, health, nutrition and arts activities.
- Maintain equipment safety, complete attendance and head‑count records, and follow health‑safety protocols.
- Respond to conflicts and critical incidents according to club policies.
- Participate in staff training, orientation and report to the Program Manager.
Required profile
- Experience working with children 4‑12 years old.
- Strong supervision, program planning and problem‑solving abilities.
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR‑C certification, COVID‑19 vaccination, and police reference check.
- Completion of HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development training.
