Accounts Payable & Receivable Clerk with Reception Duties

About the role

We are seeking a dependable and organized professional to join our administrative team in Acheson. The role combines full‑cycle accounts payable and receivable duties with front‑desk reception responsibilities, ensuring smooth financial operations and a welcoming experience for visitors and callers.

Key responsibilities

• Process full‑cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, approvals and payments.
• Manage accounts receivable, collections, and customer invoicing.
• Perform bank deposits, payment processing and credit‑card reconciliations.
• Reconcile accounts and maintain vendor and customer records.
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and handle mail sorting.
• Order office supplies and maintain electronic filing systems.
• Assist with month‑end procedures and provide backup payroll support when needed.
• Perform additional administrative and accounting tasks as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or bookkeeping.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication with customers and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
• Positive, dependable attitude and a team‑oriented mindset.
• Experience in a heavy‑equipment, construction or dealership environment is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with dealership accounting software such as DIS or similar systems.
