Accounting Technician

About the role

The Accounting Technician will support Lulu Children's Wear’s finance team in Montréal by handling payroll checks, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the integrity of various accounts. This full‑time permanent position offers a structured environment for individuals with a college or CEGEP background in accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
• Maintain and balance accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Update general ledgers and produce financial statements.
• Prepare statistical, financial and accounting reports, including trial balances.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.

Required profile

• College/CEGEP education in accounting or related field.
• 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
• Detail‑oriented with strong numerical aptitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in manual bookkeeping.
• Experience with computerized accounting systems.
