About the role
We are looking for a full‑time Accounting Clerk to join Mama’s Grocery in Moncton. The role involves maintaining the general ledger, handling accounts receivable and payable, and supporting the finance team with month‑end and audit activities. You will also store, update and retrieve financial data while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the general ledger and journal entries.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and payroll preparation.
- Assist with audit closing, income tax preparation, and financial reporting.
- Conduct costing and budgeting calculations and address customer inquiries related to billing.
Required profile
- College or CEGEP diploma (1‑2 years) or equivalent experience.
- 1 to less than 2 years of accounting experience.
- Availability to work morning, evening or shift schedules.
Required skills
- Proficiency with spreadsheets.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel.
