Accountant – CPA/CA with IFRS Experience

About the role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our client’s finance team. The role focuses on applying IFRS standards, preparing external financial statements and supporting stakeholder reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Research and resolve complex accounting issues in line with IFRS.
• Prepare and review external financial statements and related reports.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial information.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) for reporting and presentations.

Required profile

• CPA or CA qualification with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience handling IFRS accounting matters.
• Proven stakeholder management experience (3 years).
• Experience preparing external financial statements (3 years).
• Background in a Big 4 accounting firm (KPMG, Deloitte, EY, PwC) – yes or no.

Required skills

• CPA/CA certification.
• IFRS accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with external financial statement preparation.
• Experience with Expected Credit Loss (ECL) modeling – preferred.
