Account Representative – Ottawa Territory

About the role

Toshiba Tec Canada Business Solutions (TTCS) is a global leader in digital and print technologies, providing innovative office solutions across Canada. As an Account Representative for the Ottawa territory, you will sell a full line of office equipment and software, helping clients improve productivity while reducing costs and environmental impact.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales revenue and market share by managing a defined territory and achieving quota through cold calling and self‑generated leads.
• Present and sell Toshiba digital office equipment and software solutions, including multi‑functional printers, full‑color copiers, label and barcode printers, wide‑format printers and software platforms.
• Understand client objectives and align Toshiba products and services to create business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, delivering high levels of client care.
• Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, coordinate sale terms and provide client training.
• Act as an ambassador for Toshiba Tec Canada, representing the brand professionally.
• Create and maintain a prospecting plan, identifying key areas for new business within the territory.
• Prepare regular sales reports and meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market dynamics that influence the territory.

Required profile

• At least one year of outside or inside B2B sales experience, preferably in technology, finance or consulting.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a goal‑driven focus.
• Proven experience in cold calling, prospecting and developing new business.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Required skills

• Knowledge of multi‑functional printers and full‑color copiers.
• Familiarity with label and barcode printers.
• Experience with wide‑format printers.
• Understanding of e‑BRIDGE® Global Print.
• Experience with Document Capture, Document Management and Digital Signage solutions.
