Account Manager – Service Sales

About the role

The Account Manager – Service Sales will support existing customers while generating new business within Classic Fire + Life Safety’s service and inspection portfolio. You will act as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle, from lead generation to post‑sale support.

Key responsibilities

• Promote, specify and sell CFLS products and services, maintaining deep knowledge of pricing, industry standards and customer needs.
• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities through inbound inquiries, outbound prospecting and referrals.
• Manage the full sales cycle – proposal, negotiation and closing – to secure profitable agreements.
• Prepare and review quotations, deficiency reports and service proposals with accuracy and professionalism.
• Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships, driving renewals, cross‑selling and account growth.
• Collaborate with Customer Care, Operations, Service Teams and Sales Specialists to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the CRM system and generate sales reports as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of inside sales, account management or business development experience.
• Strong customer service and relationship‑building abilities.
• Experience preparing quotations and sales documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Office‑based role with extensive computer and telephone use; occasional lifting up to 20 lb.
