Account Executive, Civil Construction Software (AECO)

About the role

Trimble is looking for an Account Executive to partner with civil construction leaders across Western Canada and help them transform how they build, manage and scale using Trimble's software portfolio. The role guides customers toward modern subscription models and expands their use of the connected construction ecosystem. It is based in Western Canada, with an average travel requirement of 20% and up to 50%.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth across a defined Western Canada territory by partnering end-to-end with civil construction clients through their buying journey.
• Present software suites, product bundles and industry cloud solutions to uncover new opportunities and expand client relationships.
• Guide existing clients through transitions from traditional models to modern subscription software solutions.
• Work with cross-functional sales, product and marketing teams to build a robust pipeline and maintain long-term territory plans.
• Achieve sales targets while positioning Trimble's full portfolio to meet complex customer needs.

Required profile

• Proven track record in B2B customer sales, account management and strategic pipeline growth, with a history of hitting or exceeding quotas.
• Strong expertise in software sales, with a background in SaaS environments.
• Demonstrated proficiency in strategic planning, territory management and execution of sales methodologies.
• Bonus points for experience moving clients from perpetual licenses to subscriptions, domain knowledge in construction, civil trades or AECO, and familiarity with B2W software solutions.

Required skills

• Exceptional communication, negotiation and consultative selling skills, able to engage multiple customer personas.
• SaaS and software sales experience.
