Warehouse Manager – Fort St. John

About the role

As Warehouse Manager you will be responsible for the overall operation, performance and success of the Fort St. John Distribution Centre. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead a small team of 2‑3 employees and ensure safe, efficient and accurate warehouse operations while delivering high‑level customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a small team, providing direction, coaching and support.
• Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, deliveries and inventory control.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits and physical inventories.
• Ensure a clean, organized, safe and efficient warehouse environment and proper equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate with sales and service teams to fulfill orders accurately and resolve customer service issues.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local customers and support sales growth.
• Monitor inventory levels, communicate purchasing needs and manage employee scheduling.

Required profile

• Previous warehouse supervisory or management experience, preferably in wholesale distribution.
• Strong leadership, coaching and team‑development abilities.
• Hands‑on approach with willingness to participate in all warehouse tasks.
• Excellent organizational, communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑first attitude and relationship‑building capability.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Required skills

• Experience with inventory control and warehouse management systems.
• Solid computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
