UI Software Engineer, Developer Workflows

About the role

Apple’s internal tools team is looking for a UI Software Engineer to improve and redesign developer workflow tools. You will work on large‑scale web applications that support thousands of internal developers, collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering partners.

Key responsibilities

• Implement near‑term enhancements to existing developer tooling platforms.
• Drive the vision and development of next‑generation workflow solutions for code integration.
• Engage directly with internal customers to gather requirements and feedback.
• Partner with the HI design team to create high‑quality user experiences.
• Deliver production‑ready features and maintain them in a CI/CD environment.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience building large‑scale web applications.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience with at least one modern front‑end framework (React, Svelte, Vue.js, Ember, etc.).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Ability to discuss code decisions, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and champion great design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

What we offer

• Base salary range between $116,800 and $226,000 (CAD) per year.
