About the role
We are seeking a reliable Tile Installer to join our renovation team in Edmonton. You will work on residential and commercial projects, preparing surfaces and installing tiles with precision and care.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be tiled.
- Mix and apply mortar, cement, or adhesives using a hand trowel.
- Set tiles, apply pressure, and align them accurately.
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles using hand and power cutting tools.
- Pack grout into joints and remove excess grout.
- Replace cracked or damaged tiles as needed.
Required profile
- 1–2 years of tile installation experience.
- Physically demanding work: heavy lifting, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish colours.
- Dependable, accurate, and hardworking.
Required skills
- Tile installation techniques.
- Use of hand trowel for mortar application.
- Operation of power cutting tools for tile trimming.
