Technology Lead – Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Technology Lead to own the engineering and administration of Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environments in Calgary. The role combines deep Linux system administration, PCF platform expertise, and automation to ensure reliable, high‑performance cloud‑native services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain PCF infrastructure (BOSH, Diego, Garden) across VMware vCenter/ESXi.
• Administer Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu) supporting PCF components.
• Set up, configure, and optimize RabbitMQ clusters for messaging workloads.
• Develop and manage Concourse CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Write Python and Bash scripts to orchestrate routine tasks and incident response.
• Monitor applications and infrastructure using Wavefront, Splunk, or Datadog, and perform log analysis and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot application‑level issues in cloud‑native environments, including containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes).

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on PCF engineering or administration.
• Strong Linux system administration experience (RHEL, Ubuntu).
• Proven experience with RabbitMQ setup and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Wavefront, Splunk, or Datadog.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or at least three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Minimum 4 years of overall IT experience.
• Located within commuting distance of Calgary or willing to relocate; able to work in Canada without sponsorship.
