Technology Lead – Azure Databricks

About the role

Infosys is looking for a Technology Lead specializing in Azure Databricks to drive digital transformation for its clients. The role involves researching emerging technologies, recommending solutions, and establishing best practices while collaborating with stakeholders across the software development lifecycle. You will work in a learning‑focused environment that values teamwork, diversity and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Azure Databricks projects, including data ingestion, processing, and analytics.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, proposing appropriate solutions to meet client needs.
• Develop and enforce technology‑specific best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams to gather requirements and ensure successful delivery.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, from design to deployment and support.

Required profile

• Located within commuting distance of Calgary, AB or Mississauga, ON, or willing to relocate.
• Authorized to work in Canada without employer‑based visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education.
• Minimum 4 years of IT experience, including end‑to‑end Azure, Databricks, Python, PySpark and SQL implementations.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and Unix shell scripting.
