About the role

The Supply Chain Coordinator will support the efficient movement of food ingredients from suppliers to customers, ensuring inventory accuracy, on‑time deliveries, and cost‑effective logistics. This full‑time, on‑site role works closely with sales, warehousing, quality assurance, manufacturers, and transportation providers.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with carriers, warehouses, suppliers, and customers.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with planning, and prevent shortages or overstock.
  • Process purchase and sales orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Track shipments and proactively communicate any delays.
  • Maintain accurate records in ERP and inventory management systems.
  • Assist with demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and production scheduling.
  • Handle import/export documentation and customs requirements when needed.
  • Support product pricing, quotations, and supply agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, traceability, and regulatory standards.
  • Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies, inventory variances, and invoice issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Prepare reports on inventory, logistics performance, and service levels.

Required profile

  • Post‑secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics or a related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing or customer service, preferably in the food or ingredient industry.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers, internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical abilities for problem‑solving, forecasting and process optimisation.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with ERP systems.
  • Experience using inventory management systems.
  • Demand forecasting techniques.
  • Knowledge of import/export documentation.
  • Understanding of customs compliance requirements.
