Student Internship – General Stream (Fall 2026)

About the role

Export Development Canada (EDC) is offering a four‑month student internship for the Fall 2026 semester. The program is open to post‑secondary students in commerce, technology, analytics, finance, marketing, communications, project management, human resources and related fields. Interns will join a diverse team and contribute to projects that support Canadian businesses expanding globally.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day operations within your assigned functional area.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and preparation of reports.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to deliver project deliverables.
• Complete ad‑hoc tasks as required, ranging from research to administrative support.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program related to commerce, technology, analytics, finance, marketing, communications, project management, or human resources.
• Previous work‑term experience in a related field is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated self‑starter with good organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of both official languages is an asset and may be required for certain positions.
