About the role

As a Strategic Account Manager for the Growth and Territory segment, you will drive new business acquisition and expand existing accounts across East Canada. You will promote AVEVA’s industrial software suite, helping customers adopt a unified digital twin platform to manage engineering and process data.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify and engage prospects that have not previously used AVEVA solutions, securing new business.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers to upsell and cross‑sell, increasing annual recurring revenue.
  • Create and execute detailed account plans, from prospecting to closing, to meet revenue targets and accurate forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams to deliver value‑driven solutions and resolve customer issues.
  • Maintain market knowledge of industry trends, customer needs and competitor offerings.
  • Manage the sales pipeline using Salesforce and the MEDDPICC methodology, ensuring precise reporting.
  • Deliver compelling presentations that highlight AVEVA’s technology differentiation.

Required profile

  • Proven track record in solution‑based direct sales, preferably in industrial software or technology.
  • Experience selling complex, subscription‑based solutions to new and existing customers.
  • Strong ability to develop account strategies and achieve sales quotas.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (50‑60% of the time) and occasionally internationally.

Required skills

  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for pipeline and forecast management.
