Stores I – Warehouse Operations (Multiple Shifts)

About the role

The Stores I position supports Alberta Health Services by handling the receipt, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of hospital supplies, equipment, and food. You will work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends, to ensure continuous coverage for critical inventory needs.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming shipments using Oracle WMS and RF scanning technology.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and on time.
• Perform put‑away, hot picks, and inventory put‑away tasks.
• Enter orders into Oracle WMS while maintaining strict attention to detail.
• Conduct cart audits and quality‑assurance checks.
• Communicate with stakeholders to confirm correct quantities and support patient care.
• Track and report inventory levels to prevent over‑stocking.

Required profile

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Ability to push/pull heavy carts up to 275 kg and lift items up to 25 kg.
• Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong numerical skills and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to work under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Current forklift certification with at least 2 years of forklift experience.
• Proficiency with Oracle Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Experience using RF scanning technology.
• Familiarity with motorized pallet jack and hydraulic lift (desirable).
