Staff Pharmacist – Vanderhoof & Prince George

About the role

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to serve our communities in Vanderhoof and Prince George, British Columbia. You will join a collaborative retail health team focused on delivering exceptional pharmacy services and supporting the overall health and wellness of our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, dispense, and control prescription medications and over‑the‑counter supplements.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet patient needs.
• Provide patient counseling on new and existing medications in a friendly, proactive manner.
• Engage in public‑health initiatives such as health days and clinics to educate customers.
• Address patient and physician inquiries promptly and resolve issues efficiently.
• Monitor and control dispensing costs within the pharmacy.
• Train and mentor pharmacy technicians, interns, students, and IPG colleagues.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a valid Class A Pharmacist licence.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and professional demeanor.
• Leadership and performance‑management experience.
• Proven ability to grow business through community‑based marketing.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Healthwatch pharmacy software.
• Experience using KROLL Pharmacy computer system.
