Sr. Director of Procurement Excellence

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to own savings validation, implementation, value realization, and client invoicing for a portfolio of Fortune 1000 clients. The role bridges procurement analytics, client leadership, operational execution, and financial accountability, acting as a trusted partner to both internal negotiation teams and external client finance stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the review, underwriting, and communication of negotiated savings outcomes before client delivery.
• Manage the client‑facing validation and implementation process, resolving analytical and implementation issues.
• Coach and elevate a team of experienced procurement audit and savings validation professionals.
• Assume portions of client management and invoicing responsibilities to reduce senior leadership burden.
• Participate directly in complex savings reviews to stay connected to content and client nuances.
• Drive operational and technological evolution of the function using analytics, automation, AI tools, and scalable workflows.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in procurement, savings validation, or related finance functions.
• Strong judgment, executive presence, and ability to inspire confidence in high‑accountability environments.
• Track record of coaching experienced teams and delivering measurable savings outcomes.
