Social Media Manager

About the role

Monks is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join its Strategy team. You will support the development, planning, and execution of social campaigns for automotive clients, driving brand awareness and engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own content calendars aligned with client brand pillars.
• Coordinate approval workflows between internal and client teams.
• Ensure high‑quality, on‑brand content through editing and proofreading.
• Grow and nurture online communities, manage user‑generated content, and run gifting programs.
• Collaborate with Creative and Strategy teams to ideate and produce original automotive‑focused content.
• Write persuasive copy tailored to automotive audiences.
• Monitor cultural trends and recommend timely brand moments.
• Cover live events and provide real‑time social coverage.
• Report on content performance and audience engagement to guide future initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media for automotive or similar brands.
• Strong understanding of social platform dynamics and community building.
• Ability to manage multiple workflows and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across creative, strategy, and client teams.
