Site Superintendent – New Build

About the role

The Site Superintendent – New Build will lead all on‑site activities for ground‑up construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. This position focuses on pre‑engineered and traditional new‑build structures in Brantford, ON.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily construction operations to keep projects on schedule and within budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers, resolve on‑site issues, and maintain workflow.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Control quality of work to meet project specifications and standards.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports tracking progress and potential delays.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align on goals.
• Supervise and mentor on‑site staff to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee proper handling and use of equipment and materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ground‑up new builds and pre‑engineered building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction management practices and safety standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective leadership and communication skills for managing on‑site teams.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
