Sessional Lecturer – Psychology at Work (Fall 2026)

About the role

The Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga is seeking a Sessional Lecturer to teach MGT262 Psychology at Work for the Fall 2026 term. The appointment runs from September 1 to December 31, 2026 and includes a stipend of $9,997.47 inclusive of vacation pay.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, lead discussions, and facilitate learning activities for MGT262.
• Prepare course materials, assignments, and assessment tools in line with the Academic Calendar.
• Provide academic support to students, including a minimum of 0.75 hours of TA assistance per enrolled student.
• Maintain grading standards and submit timely feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings and uphold the university’s commitment to teaching excellence and diversity.

Required profile

• Relevant academic qualifications in psychology, management, or a related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• Ability to foster an inclusive learning environment.
• Preference given to candidates who have previously held Sessional Lecturer II or III rank.
