Service Technician

About the role

As a Service Technician at Tesla, you will join a global team dedicated to accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. You will work on the most advanced electric vehicles in production, collaborating with skilled technicians and engineers to deliver top‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced diagnostic and repair tasks on all Tesla products.
• Collaborate with team members to maximize repair efficiency and ensure high‑quality vehicle delivery, including cleaning and detailing.
• Use a variety of high‑quality hand, power, and shop tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
• Operate a company‑provided laptop for diagnostics and online training.
• Accurately document repairs, inspect shop equipment, and request replacements when needed.
• Provide feedback to Tesla’s design and engineering teams to improve repair procedures and products.

Required profile

• Automotive Service Technician licence or willingness to become a Technician Apprentice through provincial schooling.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Strong “safety first” attitude.
• Valid Class 5, G or G2 driver’s licence for Canada.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment.
