Join a global leader in biotechnology dedicated to creating a healthier world. As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist based in Edmonton, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless availability of materials and services essential to our manufacturing and operational excellence in Alberta.

Missions principales

• Execute end-to-end procurement processes, from RFx preparation to final delivery.
• Manage and create purchase requisitions and purchase orders within Gilead's ERP systems (SAP/Ariba or Oracle).
• Translate procurement strategies into tangible operational results while ensuring full compliance and service continuity.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor relationships to meet high-performance standards.
• Resolve ERP-related issues, manage billing and payment discrepancies, and oversee new supplier onboarding.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure precise fulfillment of material and service needs.

Profil recherché

• Proven professional experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• Strong ability to work within a small, high-impact team (2-person procurement unit).
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to interface with diverse stakeholders.
• High level of autonomy and attention to detail in managing complex operational workflows.
• SCMP certification is considered a significant asset.

Competences requises

• Expertise in ERP systems (SAP, Ariba, or Oracle).
• Proficiency in RFx processes and strategic sourcing.
• Strong analytical skills for supplier performance monitoring and dispute resolution.
• Effective vendor management and onboarding capabilities.
