Senior Mobile Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer to join a fast‑moving engineering team that powers mobile applications used by over 15,000 restaurants worldwide. You will own features from concept to production, delivering reliable, high‑quality mobile experiences that support restaurant operations at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of mobile features, from design and development to deployment and maintenance.
• Build and iterate rapidly using modern development and AI‑assisted tools.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to create scalable mobile architectures.
• Ensure high quality through testing, performance optimisation, and reliability‑focused development.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to engineering best practices, and improve system architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise technical excellence across the team.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience shipping production‑grade mobile applications.
• Strong expertise in either React Native with TypeScript/modern JavaScript or native Android development with Kotlin.
• Solid understanding of mobile system design, offline support, caching, networking, and performance optimisation.
• Experience designing and integrating scalable RESTful APIs.
• Background in automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and production monitoring.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or Grafana.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in fast‑paced, agile environments.
