Senior Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Senior Human Resources Manager is a key leadership position within the Canadian HR team, based in Toronto. This role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to deliver practical people solutions, enhance the employee experience, and support organizational success.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR leadership and partnership across the organization, building strong relationships.
• Coach, mentor, and develop HR team members to strengthen capability and consistency.
• Lead talent and HR operations, designing forward‑looking programs, processes, and services.
• Oversee workforce planning, talent management, learning initiatives, succession planning, internal mobility, and recruitment.
• Address complex employee relations issues and organizational challenges with practical solutions.
• Leverage HR systems, data, and reporting to support informed decision‑making.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, ranging from leading to hands‑on execution.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement opportunities to enhance employee experience and HR effectiveness.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).
• 10‑15 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership, coaching, and team management.
• Extensive experience in talent management, HR operations, and core HR functions.
• Proven background in employee relations, workplace investigations, and performance management.
• Demonstrated success leading HR initiatives, projects, and continuous‑improvement efforts.
• Strong business acumen and ability to navigate complex organizational matters.
