Senior Front End Engineer

About the role

CSC Generation is looking for a Senior Front End Engineer to shape the customer experience across its portfolio of retail brands. You will work on a lean, high‑impact team, delivering features that reach millions of users while integrating AI‑driven tooling into the development workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern front‑end frameworks.
• Explore and integrate AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to accelerate development and improve user engagement.
• Deliver new features and optimise existing experiences at speed and scale within an agile environment.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers.
• Write and maintain unit tests and automated test suites to ensure high code quality.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and back‑end teams to ship end‑to‑end features.
• Stay up‑to‑date with front‑end engineering trends, design patterns, and AI‑driven development practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience building complex, high‑performing web applications.
• Deep expertise in React and JavaScript ES6/TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of web performance, accessibility, and security best practices.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Excellent problem‑solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Effective collaboration and communication abilities.
