Senior Director, Procurement (Enterprise Leadership)

About the role

The Senior Director, Procurement will lead the enterprise‑wide procurement and supply chain function for a fast‑growing Canadian healthcare organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will shape strategy, integrate newly acquired businesses and drive operational excellence across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement and supply chain roadmap that supports both acquisition integration and organic growth.
• Map current supplier relationships, spend, inventory, warehousing and distribution practices across the platform.
• Strengthen supplier partnerships, negotiate improved commercial terms and ensure contract performance.
• Increase visibility into spend, inventory levels, product performance and supplier costs.
• Implement discipline in retail product categories, managing assortment, SKU complexity, margins and inventory turns.
• Establish processes, reporting, KPIs and decision‑making frameworks that enhance efficiency without adding bureaucracy.
• Support integration of newly acquired healthcare service businesses by assessing purchasing practices and leveraging platform‑level opportunities.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in procurement and supply chain, preferably within healthcare or a similarly regulated industry.
• Proven track record of building, transforming or scaling enterprise‑wide procurement functions.
• Strong leadership and change‑management skills with the ability to influence operators, clinicians and local teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision making.
