About the Role

Join Westland Insurance Group as a Senior Business Development Executive, where you will play a pivotal role in driving our expansion across Western Canada. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities in life insurance and key person protection solutions, acting as a strategic partner for both individuals and organizations.

Main Missions

  • Identify and capture new business opportunities in life insurance and risk protection across Western Canada.
  • Promote and sell tailored life insurance solutions to diverse clients, including corporate entities.
  • Educate corporate clients on the strategic value of Key Person Insurance and risk management.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline through CRM tools to ensure consistent growth and achievement of expansion goals.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, marketing, and external partners (Insurers and MGAs) to ensure seamless policy integration.
  • Build and maintain long-term, high-value relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

Profile Required

  • Approximately 5 years of proven experience in life insurance sales and client service.
  • Deep technical knowledge of life insurance products and risk protection solutions.
  • Strong strategic mindset with a passion for business conquest and market growth.
  • Ability to present professionally both in person and via virtual platforms.
  • Hold a valid LLQP license in your province of residence (with willingness to extend to other provinces).
