Seasonal Hairstylist

About the role

Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise is hiring a Seasonal Hairstylist for its Spa, specializing in men's and women's haircuts, professional hairstyling, blowouts and elegant hairstyles for special occasions. The role suits someone who enjoys working with a diverse international clientele and the collaborative spirit of luxury hospitality. It is seasonal, based on operational dates and business needs, and reports directly to the Spa Director.

Key responsibilities

• Cut and style hair for men and women, including precision cutting, layering, trimming, shampooing, conditioning and blowouts, plus bridal and wedding party styling
• Take personalized consultations and recommend haircare products
• Keep tools, equipment and workstations clean and organized
• Support Spa reception and guest services when appointments are not running, including reservations, retail recommendations and administrative tasks
• Help prepare treatment rooms, restock supplies and support Spa therapists during quieter periods

Required profile

• Confident, versatile hairstylist skilled in both men's and women's hair services
• Detail-oriented, friendly and committed to high-quality results and guest satisfaction
• Comfortable in a luxury hotel and Spa environment and flexible to work weekends, holidays and special events
• Willing to cover reception, attendant and operational duties outside of styling hours
• Legally authorized to work in Canada; the hotel cannot assist with work authorization
