Satellite TT&C/PDT Systems Engineer – Full Relocation Package

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to design, integrate, verify, and support TT&C/PDT subsystems for current and next‑generation remote‑sensing and communications satellites. The role collaborates with payload teams, ground‑segment developers, and mission‑operations teams to ensure reliable command delivery, high‑fidelity telemetry acquisition, and robust data handling throughout the satellite life‑cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Define functional architecture, conduct trade‑studies, and produce system requirements, ICDs, and description documents.
• Lead detailed hardware and software design, perform link‑budget analysis, RF simulation, and ensure compliance with CCSDS, ECSS, ITU and other standards.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and verification matrices; execute RF link testing, BER, command latency and telemetry integrity verification.
• Present technical status and risk analyses to senior management, negotiate ICDs with suppliers, and support early‑phase (B&P) activities.
• Mentor junior engineers, act as technical liaison with customers and vendors, and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain configuration control in PLM environment, support design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR/TRR) and on‑orbit checkout activities.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace or related field with 8+ years of TT&C/PDT system design experience on LEO/MEO/GEO platforms.
• Strong knowledge of CCSDS TM/TC packet standards, ECSS telemetry & command protocols, PUS services and ITU frequency regulations.
• Hands‑on experience with RF link‑budget analysis, S‑band/X‑band/Ka‑band modem architecture, and aerospace system‑engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency with Confluence and JIRA, ability to work with minimal supervision, and excellent written and oral communication in English (French a plus).
