Rope Access Technician (RAT)

About the role

The Rope Access Technician (RAT) works at elevated sites across Vancouver, performing tasks that require safe and efficient rope access methods. You will operate in outdoor environments that can be dusty, wet, or otherwise challenging while maintaining a strong focus on client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Perform installation, maintenance, and inspection tasks at heights using rope access techniques.
• Handle heavy loads safely and secure equipment according to industry standards.
• Work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and colour‑distinguishing accuracy.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in rope access or related field.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding outdoor conditions.
• Client‑focused, organized, and a strong team player.

Required skills

• Rope access techniques.
• Blueprint reading.
