About the role
We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at Xo Bistro + Bar, a Vietnamese cuisine venue in Edmonton. The role involves overseeing staff, ensuring service quality, and maintaining a safe, efficient environment.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and plan daily restaurant operations, including staffing schedules and service offerings.
- Recruit, train, and monitor staff performance, providing guidance and feedback.
- Maintain inventory levels, negotiate with suppliers, and manage catering and facility usage agreements.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food regulations.
- Address customer complaints, manage events, and uphold high service standards.
Required profile
- 2–3 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Strong client focus, dependability, and excellent interpersonal communication.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Flexibility, organization, reliability, and a team‑player attitude.
