About the role
We are looking for a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our busy pub in Calgary. The successful candidate will oversee budgeting, staff performance, and customer satisfaction while ensuring smooth service flow.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and develop budgets for food, beverages, supplies and labor costs.
- Monitor daily operations and evaluate performance against targets.
- Plan, organize and schedule staff shifts for morning, evening and weekend periods.
- Supervise, train and coach team members to maintain high service standards.
- Balance cash registers, prepare balance sheets and complete financial reports.
- Conduct performance reviews and address employee or customer concerns promptly.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1‑2 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organization, reliability and a strong team‑player attitude.
