Responsable Système de Gestion de la Sécurité (Safety Management System Officer)

About the role

We are looking for a Safety Management System Officer to join the A220 commercial aircraft program in the Customer Service (ABS) team based in Mirabel, Quebec. You will work closely with a network of SGS representatives to improve product safety and support our customers and operators.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the development, operation, governance and promotion of safety for the A220 product and its operators.
• Act as the focal point for the Customer Service function while collaborating with Airbus Canada Aviation Safety and the Operational Excellence SGS team.
• Support operational technical and logistical assistance for customers and operators.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration across engineering, production, quality and other departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience with Safety Management Systems in an aviation context.
• Background in airline operations or aircraft technical problem solving.
• Ability to work autonomously, promote knowledge sharing and collaborate across teams.
• Strong interest in developing new competencies within the A220 program.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Safety Management System (SMS) processes and aviation safety regulations.
• Technical troubleshooting experience on aircraft.
