Remote Pulmonologist / Intensivist (Contractor)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pulmonologist or Intensivist to work remotely as a contractor, helping us fine‑tune large language models for medical applications. You will apply your clinical expertise to ensure AI delivers accurate, empathetic, and safe medical reasoning.

Key responsibilities

• Design advanced clinical scenarios covering differential diagnoses, chronic disease management, and intensive care.
• Evaluate AI‑generated responses for diagnostic accuracy, clinical judgment, and evidence‑based reasoning.
• Identify gaps in AI understanding across pulmonology and intensive care subspecialties.
• Collaborate with AI researchers and medical peers to improve model quality and reliability.
• Provide structured, expert feedback to guide next‑generation AI development for clinical and educational use.

Required profile

• MD or equivalent with active clinical practice within the last 3 years.
• Board certification or equivalent qualification in Pulmonology, Intensive Care, or Internal Medicine.
• Strong ability to articulate complex medical reasoning in clear, patient‑friendly language.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Education from a top‑tier institution (e.g., Harvard, Stanford, UCSF, Oxford, etc.).

Required skills

• Familiarity with digital medical tools (a plus).
